Question 1:- Dear Mr. Hassan Rengou Mfouakie, Could you introduce yourself?
I am ambassador Hassan Rengou Mfouakie, environmental activist and founder of World Youth Summit and the Association of African Future Leaders. I was recently appointed as Minister of Youth of the State of African Diaspora.
Question 2:- What is your vision of Panafricanism?
Pan Africanism shall be defined first as the love of Africa by Africans and the sacrifice they are ready and willing to make to uplift their continent.
Question 3:- Who is your favourite character in Pan-African history, and why?
My favourite character in pan African history is W.E.B Du Bois because he encouraged the study of African history.
Question 4:- With the onset of technology and investment in Africa, how do you see Africa in the 21st Century?
Africa is on a very strategic turn which will define its future development. The rate of investment in Africa by foreigners have grown up. Africa is more open to the world than any other century before. We have intellectual youth who can handle positions of leadership. We need to fight a common enemy: corruption.
Question 5:- What initiatives and projects have manifested through your position within the State of the African Diaspora?
I was recently appointed only. However, the prime minister and I are working closely on some projects which will be announced soon. But I can already tell you it is about scholarships and internships…
Question 6:- What are you planning to do in the future for the State of the African Diaspora?
I would like the African youth to know the importance of the State of African Diaspora in contributing to the development of our continent.
